Subsector Survey 2014

Subsector Survey 2014 is a continuation of the Census of Agriculture survey 2013. This survey aimed to gain an overview of the cost structure of farming which is very useful for planning development, especially in agriculture. Activities Subsector enumeration survey was conducted in May 2014. Sub covered in this activity are food crops subsector, Horticulture Sub, Sub Plantation, Sub Livestock, Fisheries Sub-sector, and forestry subsector. Some of the variables to be collected is a description of the resulting production, production costs such as the cost of the purchase of seed, feed, land lease, the cost of the use of fertilizers, and so forth. By knowing the value of production and the value of the cost of production of the farmers are expected to provide an overview of the economic conditions of farmers whether agricultural enterprises run profit and loss. By getting data on the cost structure of farming it is expected that the government can adopt policies that are beneficial especially for farmers in order to promote the agricultural sector in Indonesia.
